Description

The Richmond Gear/Motive Gear 79-0031-1 is a "Pro Gear" ring and pinion set with a 5.57 ratio and 30 spline pinion, specifically designed for GM 12-Bolt 8.875" rear differentials. This high-performance gear set offers a 5.57:1 gear ratio, achieved with 7 pinion teeth and 39 ring gear teeth, and features a 1.625-inch pinion shaft diameter. Constructed from durable 9310 alloy steel, this natural-finish gear set is built for standard rotation. It requires a notched cross pin (part number 80-0269-1) for proper ring gear clearance.
