The Richmond Gear/Motive Gear 49-0211-1 Ring and Pinion Gear Kit with a 3.73 gear ratio is built for high horsepower engines with precision computer-controlled heat treatment and an 8620 steel ring gear construction. It is designed to improve vehicle torque and power to the drive wheels and adapts to a 3.55 ring and pinion gear ratio with a 3.31 or higher carrier break Ford Super 8.8 design type, a 2.01-inch pinion shaft diameter, and a 30 pinion spline count.
