The Rockford Fosgate PMX-2 is a compact AM/FM/WB tuner and digital media receiver, specifically engineered for marine and motorsports use. Its 2.7-inch full-color TFT display is optically wet-bonded to prevent dust and moisture intrusion, ensuring visibility in bright sunlight. The receiver boasts an IPX6 rating and Element Ready™ construction, offering robust protection against environmental factors including dust, UV rays, temperature extremes, water, corrosion, and vibration. Under the hood, the PMX-2 features a powerful internal 4 x 50W @ 2-ohm amplifier, delivering impressive audio performance. For those seeking more power, front, rear, and subwoofer RCA outputs are available, making the addition of external amplifiers straightforward. Connectivity options include Bluetooth audio streaming with album art support, Pandora control capabilities, and AUX and USB inputs, the latter also providing USB charging. An onboard Punch EQ and independent subwoofer level control allow for further audio customization. Installation is simplified as the unit is designed to fit into a standard 3-inch round mounting hole. The receiver also includes a water-resistant rotary encoder knob with white LED button illumination. It supports multiple audio formats like MP3, WMA, and FLAC, and is compatible with select iPod and iPhone models, as well as Android devices via Bluetooth. The product comes with a 2-year warranty.
