Digital Multi Gauge

The Auber Instruments SYL-1813 is a versatile digital automobile gauge capable of measuring a wide range of parameters critical for engine monitoring and performance tuning. Its primary functions include measuring Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT), boost pressure, battery voltage, and air/fuel ratio when interfaced with compatible controllers. The gauge supports numerous input types, including various thermocouples (K, E, S, R, J, T, B, WRe3-WRe25), RTD sensors (Pt100, Cu50), pressure transducers (0-375ohm, 0-5V, 0-75mV), and other analog signals like 0-30 mV, 1-5V, 0-10V, 0-10mA, 0-20mA, and 4-20mA. The SYL-1813 boasts a clear, four-digit LED display that can show readings in selectable units such as °F or °C for temperature, and Bar, PSI, or user-defined units for pressure. It offers 1°C or 1°F display resolution and an accuracy of ±0.2% or ±1 unit of the full input range. For enhanced safety and monitoring, a programmable alarm system is integrated, which activates a blue LED and can trigger a relay output (3A at 240VAC) to control external devices like buzzers, fuel shut-offs, or cooling fans when preset thresholds are exceeded. This gauge is built with industrial-grade precision, offering up to ten times the resolution and accuracy of typical three-digit gauges. It features a cold junction compensation circuit for thermocouple inputs, significantly reducing temperature drift and improving measurement stability. The device also includes recording capabilities to log maximum and minimum readings along with their timestamps, and can operate in a peak-holding mode to continuously display the highest value. The display brightness is adjustable, either manually via a keypad or automatically synchronized with the vehicle's headlights for optimal visibility at night. Installation is made more manageable by its compact 1/32 DIN (24 x 48 mm) form factor, which requires a 22 x 45 mm panel cutout, making it a space-saving alternative to larger 52 mm gauges. The gauge operates on a 12VDC power supply (8.5~16.5 VDC range), with a separate 24VDC version available. Note that each SYL-1813 unit can only be configured to measure one type of parameter at a time; it cannot simultaneously display multiple different measurements.
