The JL Audio FiX-86 is a digital signal processor designed to improve sound quality from factory audio systems while retaining OEM fader controls. It automatically corrects time-delayed factory outputs and level-matches signals for integration with aftermarket amplifiers.

The JL Audio FiX-86 is a high-performance digital signal processor engineered to provide a clean, full-range audio signal from complex factory source units. By automatically correcting time-delayed factory outputs and performing signal summing and EQ correction, it ensures high-fidelity sound quality while preserving essential features like OEM fader control. Equipped with a 24-bit/48 kHz DSP processor, the device accepts up to eight channels of differential-balanced inputs, ranging from 250 mV to 30 V RMS. It automatically manages level-matching to deliver six channels of clean, 4V RMS RCA output, consisting of front, rear, and subwoofer pairs. Calibration is streamlined through a one-button process that completes in approximately 30 seconds without external equipment. Users can further customize output via the TüN 2.0 software by connecting a PC via USB. This interface provides diagnostic panels for frequency response monitoring and access to four user-adjustable 10-band graphic equalizers for precise tuning.
