Digital Sound Processor Amplifier

The Alpine PXE-0850S is an advanced digital sound processor engineered to clear up and transfer pure signals to amplifiers, creating an optimized sound stage for both factory and aftermarket head units. It features a summing and mixing system ability, capable of taking up to 6 independent high-level signals from complex OEM setups and combining them into a full-range signal. This versatility is further expanded by 12 independent RCA pre-outs, allowing for extreme flexibility in system building and an authentic listening experience. At its core, the PXE-0850S boasts a 12-channel, 32-bit, 300 MHz digital processor. For audio tuning, it includes a 31-band EQ with fine-tuning capabilities, adjustable high-, low-, and band-pass filters with selectable slopes (12 to 48 dB/octave) and characteristics (Butterworth, Bessel, Linkwitz-Riley), and time delay adjustment up to 20 milliseconds per channel. The processor also offers 0 or 180° phase adjustment. Connectivity options are abundant, with 6 assignable preamp-level and speaker-level inputs, plus digital TOSLINK/SPDIF and coaxial inputs. It also supports audio streaming and sound tuning via Bluetooth with the included adapter. The unit provides 8 x 25W RMS amplified outputs and 12 processed RCA outputs. DSP adjustments can be made via a Bluetooth device, a Windows PC via USB using Alpine's software or mobile application, or through the included wired LCD remote control. The package includes the wired LCD remote, Bluetooth adapter, and USB cable.
