The Diode Dynamics SS5 CrossLink Grille Lightbar Kit (DD7271) is a high-intensity lighting solution designed to integrate seamlessly into the factory grille of specific Ford Bronco models. This kit includes six SS5 LED pods, which utilize custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics to maximize light output and efficiency. The pods feature a selectable backlight with eight color options for white kits, providing both aesthetic enhancement and increased visibility. Yellow kits are offered with an amber backlight only. The innovative CrossLink technology allows for the secure linking of the six SS5 pods, forming a rigid yet adjustable lightbar suitable for straight or curved configurations, thanks to its single-piece CNC aluminum construction. The kit is designed for straightforward installation using factory mounting points, requiring no cutting or drilling. It can be controlled via the vehicle's factory auxiliary switch bank using the included adapter wire, dedicating one switch for the main beam and another for the backlight.
