Description

The Diode Dynamics HYLUX D2 HID Ballast is a 35-watt ballast designed for D2-connector HID bulbs. It features CANBUS compatibility for newer vehicles, ensuring proper operation by preventing errors and providing consistent power. This ballast utilizes an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) for high efficiency and performance.

It includes a waterproof 23kV igniter rated for operation down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit. The ballast is intended as a direct replacement for failed OEM D2 ballasts and requires tapping into the original ballast's power wires for installation.
