The Diode Dynamics Stage Series Backlit Ditch Light Kit allows for easy mounting of two SS3 or SSC2 Pods above the hood using application-specific, CAD-designed brackets. These brackets utilize factory mounting points, eliminating the need for cutting or drilling. Constructed from thick-gauge stainless steel, they prevent corrosion, vibration, or bouncing. The SS3 and SSC2 pods feature custom-engineered TIR optics that efficiently direct light from the LED, reducing glare and improving total efficiency. The lighting has been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40 to 185 degrees F and meets SAE standards for vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion.
