The Diode Dynamics SS3 3" LED Pod offers exceptional lighting performance with its advanced TIR optics, providing the highest intensity on the market. These LED pods are designed for maximum functionality and can be configured with various beam patterns including SAE Driving, SAE Fog, Flood, Combo/Driving, or Spot. They also feature a distinctive backlight accent available in amber or red. Constructed with durable powder-coated aluminum, the SS3 pods are built to withstand harsh conditions. They are available in Sport, Pro, or Max power levels, with the Max model utilizing cutting-edge automotive emitters for extreme brightness. When properly installed and aimed, the Driving White pattern meets SAE J581 standards for driving/auxiliary high beam lights, and the Fog pattern meets SAE J583 standards for fog lamps, making them legal for on-road use. The SS3 pods are available in cool white (6000K) or selective yellow (3000K). Each pod includes a Deutsch-style connector and a 6-inch pigtail with bare leads for versatile installation. Diode Dynamics rigorously tests their Stage Series LED lighting for long-term operation in extreme temperatures, vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion, all to SAE standards.
