TIR optics capture and focus light output without glare. Copper circuit boards, thermal transfer materials, and optimized heatsinks effectively dissipate heat for maximum power output.

Beam patterns are fine-tuned for real-world conditions. The Combo/Driving pattern blends distance and width for a balanced 60x30 degree output, providing throw downrange and ample foreground illumination. The SAE Driving pattern supplements high beams with a 20x12 degree broad-spot. The Flood pattern offers uniform, even illumination with a broad 100x80 degree spread, ideal for low speeds, trailers, campsites, and work areas. The Spot pattern provides a highly focused 8x8 degree beam for long-distance visibility.

SmartSelect Technology offers advanced control and configurability. The dual-function main beam allows running inner sections only, outer sections only, or the full bar. It also features a selectable multicolor backlight in eight colors, with an upgraded amber chip for true white and amber output. A dynamic startup sequence is present for selected backlight colors. Standard models feature an amber-only backlight with no startup sequence.

The SS30 LED Light Bar is available in Sport and Pro power levels, both using high-intensity, automotive-grade LED emitters and TIR optics. Lenses are swappable, with 6000K Cool White LED emitters. A small toggle switch on each circuit board allows configuration for white or yellow lenses when changing optics. Snap-On Lens Covers are available for protection and customization. The product is extensively tested for reliability from -40 to 185 degrees F, and for vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion to SAE standards.
