The Diode Dynamics SS50 Hood LED Light Bar Kit is a complete lighting solution designed for a perfect fit on 2018-2021 Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT models. This kit allows for the easy mounting of a 50-inch light bar across the hood, utilizing factory mounting points without the need for cutting or drilling. The CAD-designed L-shaped brackets are low-profile, ensuring they do not obstruct visibility or wiper nozzles and eliminate whistling or major wind noise common with other light bar brackets. The kit includes OEM-style, automotive-grade hardware with integrated washers and a factory-matching finish, along with long-lasting Delrin spacers. For electrical integration, the kit includes an OEM Auxiliary Switch Dual-Output Wiring Harness, enabling control through the factory-installed auxiliary switch bank. For vehicles without this feature, a Heavy Duty Dual-Output Wiring Harness is also provided, allowing for direct connection to the battery and a separate switch. Diode Dynamics' Stage Series LED light bars feature custom-engineered TIR optics, providing highly functional and focused beam patterns. The "Combo" pattern combines a rectangular 20Wx8H degree Driving pattern to supplement high beams, with an with an 80Wx50H degree Flood pattern for uniform, wide-area illumination. The 50-inch combo light bar specifically features six driving lenses in the middle and two flood lenses on the outer edges.
