The Diode Dynamics SS3 LED Pod Max Type B SAE Fog Light Kit offers an upgrade for vehicle fog lights with higher output intensity than other 3" lights. These LED pods feature custom-engineered TIR optics for maximum functionality and a focused beam. The kit includes custom-molded brackets for easy, direct replacement installation, and wire adapters for plug-and-play connection to factory bulb sockets. The pods are constructed from durable powder-coated aluminum with a die-cast housing and feature an integrated Deutsch-style connector and pin-fin heatsink design. They are designed, torture-tested, and assembled in the USA. The yellow output is 3000K, ideal for high contrast in poor weather. The Pro version offers double the power of the Sport option. The pods also include a distinctive amber backlight feature. When installed and aimed correctly, the Fog pattern meets SAE J583 standard for legal on-road use.
