The CTS Turbo Direct-Fit intercooler upgrade is specifically designed for the VW MQB MK8 Golf GTI and Golf R, featuring an updated black finish. It is crucial to upgrade your intercooler to manage intake air temperatures (IATs) effectively. Stock or inferior intercoolers can lead to heat soak, resulting in performance degradation and potential engine timing issues. This premium intercooler upgrade from CTS Turbo serves as a direct replacement for your factory intercooler, ensuring that charged air remains cool and power output is consistent. The intercooler boasts a high-density bar-and-plate core with cast end tanks, engineered to support up to 600 wheel horsepower. It includes airflow-directing fins cast into the end tanks for optimal air distribution within the core. Silicone hoses are included in the kit. This intercooler is fully compatible with the factory Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Frontal Collision Warning systems. It is one of the largest intercooler cores available on the market, offering complete direct fitment for the specified models. Fitment includes: 2022+ MK8 VW GTI, 2022+ MK8 VW Golf R, 2022+ 8Y Audi A3 2.0T, and 2022+ 8Y Audi S3.
