The MSD 8922 is a DIS Coil Simulator designed to work with Ford Modular dual coil ignition systems and late-model Jeep distributorless ignition systems from 1999 and later. It simulates the factory ECU kick-back signal, which is crucial for enabling the ECU to properly trigger both the tachometer and fuel injection when an MSD DIS Ignition is installed.
