Description

The MSD Direct Ignition System (DIS) controller simplifies the conversion of traditional distributor-type engines to a Coil-Per-Plug configuration. It eliminates distributor cap and rotor wear, reduces spark energy losses, and allows for optimized ignition tuning. Features include an integral 2.5 Bar MAP Sensor, optional temperature sensor input, Step Retard for nitrous applications, 2-Step Rev Limiter, Launch Retard, real-time configuration with MSDView software, and 8 MB of internal data storage for monitoring and logging.
