The Pirate Jack DBK6568LX-GMFS3-311 is a complete disc brake conversion kit engineered for 1965-1968 GM full-size vehicles such as the Impala, Bel Air, and Biscayne. This kit provides a significant upgrade over stock drum brakes, incorporating modern braking technology for enhanced stopping power. The kit includes 11-inch drilled and slotted rotors designed for optimal heat dissipation and bite, paired with large single-bore GM calipers and brake pads. Also provided are caliper brackets, hoses with banjo bolts, bearings, seals, dust caps, spindle nuts, spindle washers, and all the necessary hardware for a complete installation. Central to this conversion is the 8-inch dual chrome booster, which significantly reduces pedal effort, and the accompanying chrome master cylinder, ensuring efficient fluid distribution. The kit also features a left-mount disc/drum proportioning valve, critical for balancing brake pressure between the front and rear wheels for safe and effective braking.
