The RuffStuff Specialties 14 Bolt Disc Brake Conversion Kit (R1877) is engineered to upgrade your vehicle's braking system by replacing the factory drum brakes with a more efficient disc brake setup. This kit is specifically designed for full float 14 Bolt SRW axles from the 1973–1987 model years. The kit incorporates an innovative dual bleeder caliper design, simplifying the bleeding process by ensuring a bleeder is always accessible on the top side, eliminating the guesswork of left or right caliper orientation. This enhancement streamlines installation and maintenance. Fitment is crucial for this conversion kit. It is intended for 1973-1987 single rear wheel (SRW) full float 14 bolt housings. It requires the use of 15-inch steel wheels with a maximum backspacing of 4 inches, or larger aluminum wheels. Critically, this kit will not fit dually hubs. For those needing longer studs, standard dually studs or Dormin #610-301 may be compatible.
