The MSD 8547 is a Chevy Extra Tall Slip Collar Pro-Billet Distributor designed for racing blocks with maximum increased deck height, such as Alan Root, Merlin, and Rocket Blocks. It features nearly three inches of adjustment to ensure correct installation. This distributor must be used with an MSD 6, 7, or 8-series ignition control. It utilizes a maintenance-free magnetic pickup and an adjustable mechanical advance assembly.
