Description

The Pertronix D186504 is a stock-look distributor with vacuum advance designed for Volkswagen Type 1 engines. It features a lightweight cast aluminum housing and integrated Ignitor electronic ignition, which delivers double the voltage to the spark plugs for increased horsepower, fuel economy, and spark plug life. The distributor uses rotating cobalt magnets to trigger a Hall Effect integrated circuit for precise timing and includes a high dielectric strength cap with brass terminals.
