This Genuine Alfa Romeo Diverter Valve is designed as a direct replacement unit for all turbo-charged 2.0L and 2.9L Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio models. Over time, the internal seals within the factory diverter valve can degrade, causing leaks and negatively impacting performance. The diverter valve plays a critical role in safely venting excess pressure generated by the turbocharger back into the intake tract, which helps protect the compressor from potential damage. A failing diverter valve can lead to compressor damage or failure. This genuine unit is designed to bolt directly onto the charge piping using three 5mm Allen bolts. The 2.0L models utilize one diverter valve, typically located on the charge pipe under the engine cover.
