The Unitronic Diverter Valve Relocation Kit for the 2.0 TSI Gen1 engine is designed to enhance the performance and longevity of your vehicle's diverter valve (DV). By relocating the DV from the exhaust manifold's heat to a cooler location near the OEM throttle body, this kit improves its durability and operational responsiveness. The kit is compatible with stock K03/IHI and K04 turbochargers (specifically those with a compressor-mounted diverter valve). Included in the comprehensive kit are all the essential components for a successful installation: Unitronic 4-ply silicone hoses for the 3" to 2.25" reducer and DV relocation, a CNC aluminum DV adapter, a 2.0 TSI silicone throttle body hose with a DV bung, a DV wiring harness extension, and an OEM DV location block-off plate. Additional hardware includes mounting clips and an optional DV re-route coupler. Installation is designed to be straightforward, with a difficulty level rated at 2 out of 5. However, it's crucial to note that this DV Relocation kit *only fits with Unitronic's 3" Cold Air Intake (CAI)*. Furthermore, this product is *not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle* due to California Air Resources Board regulations. This kit is recommended for use with Unitronic's Stage 1, Stage 1+, Stage 2, and Stage 2+ software tunes. Compatibility extends to a range of Audi and Volkswagen models equipped with the 2.0T TSI engine, including specific A3, Q3, TT, TTS, Beetle, CC, Eos, Golf R, Golf V, Golf VI, Jetta V, Jetta VI, and Tiguan variants.
