DL501 DSG Tune TCU Upgrade

The Integrated Engineering IE DL501 DSG Tune is a TCU upgrade specifically engineered for the Audi C7/C7.5 S6 and S7 4.0T models. This performance calibration is designed to be fully realized with IE's 4.0T ECU tunes. Without a complementary DSG tune, higher torque outputs from upgraded ECUs can exceed the transmission's torque limit, leading to clutch slippage. This TCU upgrade modifies the RPM limit, shift points, throttle maps, launch control, paddle response, and temperature management to seamlessly integrate with an ECU tune, resulting in substantially increased horsepower and torque, and greatly improved acceleration. Key features include performance-matched calibration for IE 4.0T ECU tunes, increased torque limits and clutch pressure to handle tune gains, optimized shift points for rapid acceleration in Drive and Sport modes, lightning-fast shift times, removal of first gear lockout during downshifts, faster paddle response, optimized launch control RPMs, and reduced gear hunting. The tune also includes optimized temperature protection for enhanced safety. Installation is straightforward via direct port OBDII at-home flashing using IE's POWERlink Cable and Flash Wizard software. It's important to note that the IE DSG TCU Tune requires a matching engine ECU tune; it should not be installed on stock engine software. The POWERlink Flash Tool can be used on up to 5 different vehicle VINs, but tunes are sold separately. Once applied, a tune is permanently registered to the vehicle's ECU and is non-transferable. The fitment is specifically for the Audi S6 and S7 models from 2012-2018 (C7 - C7.5 generation).
