DL501 R Series R15 Clutch Pack Upgrade

The JH Motorsports DL501 R Series R15 Clutch Pack Upgrade is an advanced clutch solution engineered for the Audi DL501 7-speed transmission. This kit is designed to substantially increase the torque-holding capacity, rated for 850-900 ft-lbs, making it comparable to high-end "stage 3" kits on the market, while striving to maintain the factory drivability. This upgrade features an increased clutch count from the stock 11 clutches to 15, significantly enhancing the transmission's ability to handle higher power levels. The R15 kit is compatible with clutch basket part numbers 0B5141030E or 0B5141030F, which have a 103mm - 81 tooth oil pump gear. The package includes critical installation components such as the new front cover seal (PN 0B5311113F) and cover o-ring (PN 0B5323525B). To achieve the full torque-holding capacity and ensure optimal performance, JH Motorsports strongly recommends pairing this clutch kit with the JHM TCU tune or any other TCU tune capable of increasing clamp pressure to 20+ bar. This is crucial for minimizing clutch slip and preventing overheating. Additionally, an adaptation for clutch kiss points should be performed once the transmission reaches 40°C, following factory installation procedures. This product is specifically designed for vehicles equipped with the 3.0t or 4.0t engines. It is important to note that if your vehicle has the B8 RS4-RS5 clutch basket (PN 0B5141030G) with a 96mm - 75 tooth oil pump gear, the JHM-0B5141030G-R15 variant is recommended for proper fitment. The manufacturer also notes that while genuine OEM clutch baskets are used, they do not provide a warranty specifically for the clutch baskets themselves. This clutch pack upgrade fits the following Audi models: S4 (B8-B8.5, 2010-2016, 3.0t V6), S5 (B8-B8.5, 2008-2017, 3.0t V6), S6 (C7-C7.5, 2013-2018, 4.0t V8), and S7 (C7-C7.5, 2013-2018, 4.0t V8).
