DMS Axle-Back Exhaust

The Rogue Engineering DMS Axle-Back Exhaust system is engineered and developed in the USA for BMW E36 325i, 328i, and M3 models. Constructed entirely from T-304 stainless steel, it boasts mandrel-bent dual 57mm tubing, an upgrade from the factory's 50mm, designed to increase airflow by eliminating the center resonator. This system features mirror-polished dual 3-inch staggered RACE tips that fit most aftermarket bumpers, including Hamann, MTech, and AC Schnitzer. All welds on the DMS exhaust system are TIG welded for superior strength and longevity. Rogue Engineering states that while replacing only a muffler or the complete exhaust on an E36 yields small measurable gains, their focus is on delivering great looks and sound with minimal fitment issues at an affordable price. For significant real-world performance gains, they note that addressing the catalytic converters is typically required, which can be a more extensive and costly modification. This axle-back system comes with dual, staggered Tone Control exhaust tips, each 3 inches in diameter. It includes stainless steel flanges for enhanced strength and features 57.2mm twin inlet, mandrel-bent tubes. The design also offers additional clearance for differentials, particularly beneficial for those using aftermarket finned differential covers. The exhaust fits factory hangers and is designed as a direct bolt-on for easy installation. It weighs 29 lbs complete, offering a 20 lb weight saving over the stock system. Because the factory exhaust must be cut for installation, it can be clamped or welded, and professional installation is recommended.
