The Kenwood DMX7709S is a 2-DIN multimedia receiver designed to enhance your in-car entertainment experience. It boasts a 6.8-inch WVGA Clear Resistive Touch Screen, providing a clear and responsive interface. Connectivity is a strong point, with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, allowing seamless integration with your smartphone for navigation, music, and calls. The receiver also features Bluetooth with dual phone connection and dual rear USB ports for charging and media playback. For audio quality, it includes a 13-band EQ, digital time alignment, and tuned audiophile-grade components, delivering superior sound with 3 gold pre-outs at 4 Volt and Hi-Res Audio support (192K/24bit FLAC/WAV). The built-in amplifier provides 22 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels. Expandability options include SiriusXM satellite radio readiness (tuner sold separately), compatibility with Kenwood's DRV-N520 Drive Recorder dash cam (sold separately), and the ability to work with most factory steering wheel audio controls via an adapter. It also integrates with the iDataLink Maestro module to retain factory features and display vehicle information like HVAC, performance, and TPMS on compatible vehicles. The receiver includes a Photo Frame Widget for displaying slideshows from a USB drive.
