Description

Performance intercooler for BMW M2 / M3 / M4 F8X (S55 3.0L engine). Replaces OE tube & fin core with clamped plastic end tanks, which are prone to cracking. Features a bar-and-plate core with TIG-welded aluminum casting end tanks. 85% larger core volume (5657cm³ vs 3052cm³ OEM). Decreases charge air pressure drop by 16% (298 CFM vs 256 CFM OEM). Dual pass coolant flow and high-density offset cooling fins increase active cooling area. Achieves 13 hp peak power gain, 25 hp midrange power gain, and 52 Nm torque gain (with BootMod3 Stage 1 tune). Lowers post-intercooler air temperature by 9°C (39°C vs 48°C OEM). Drop-in installation without modifications.
