This do88 performance turbo air intake system is designed for demanding users with high power goals who want to maintain an almost factory look. It eliminates bottlenecks in the factory air intake, specifically the airbox lid and ducting to the turbo inlet. The do88 design features a one-piece plastic molded upper air box lid with a 3 1/8" (80mm) intake duct with perfectly smooth transitions to vastly reduce turbulence and restrictions. This system supports power levels up to 500hp and is 100% bolt-on without modifications. It provides 44% better airflow than the factory setup (when combined with a BMC airfilter and do88 turbo inlet pipe) and utilizes the factory fresh air ducting system to ensure true cold air intake, preventing high IAT and associated power loss. It fits cars with and without secondary air injection (SAI) port. Optional upgrades include a BMC high-flow panel filter and a do88 3" turbo inlet pipe, which are recommended to be used together for optimal uniform flow. The system comes as a complete package with all necessary installation parts.
