DOD Conversion Kit

The BTR GEN IV 07-13 TRUCK DOD CONVERSION KIT is engineered to address issues with the Active Fuel Management (AFM) lifter system in Gen IV GM LS truck engines. This kit provides a solution for removing the problematic AFM lifter setup, offering a customizable conversion to suit individual requirements. This comprehensive conversion kit can include a wide range of essential components. These typically include a valley cover, head bolts or studs, head gaskets, header/exhaust manifold gaskets, lifters, lifter trays, valve cover gaskets, valley cover gaskets, a cam retainer plate, cam retainer bolts, and a balancer bolt. For enhanced functionality, the kit can also be equipped with an RTD4 tuning device, enabling tuning after cam installation (if non-stock, appropriate springs, seals, and pushrods are also required), along with fluids and labor. It is important to note that the BTR10141 valley cover gasket is not compatible with the factory DOD/AFM valley cover. Furthermore, some later model platforms may require an additional unlock cable, credits, or an ECM ship-in unlock for certain ECUs.
