The Brian Tooley Racing BTR GEN V DOD / AFM Conversion Kit provides a comprehensive solution for owners of Gen V GM LT engines seeking to eliminate the problematic Displacement On Demand (DOD) or Active Fuel Management (AFM) lifter system. This kit is essential when installing a non-DOD camshaft, as it includes all the necessary components to remove the factory lifters and their associated systems. Users can customize their kit by selecting individual parts, ensuring they only purchase what they need. Each kit offers a range of components that can be included, such as valley covers or conversion plugs, head bolts or studs, head gaskets, header gaskets, lifters, lifter trays, valve cover gaskets, spark plug wires, a DOD/Start-Stop disabler module, cam retainer plates and bolts, intake gaskets, fuel pump gaskets, and balancer bolts. A tuning device, which includes necessary tuning, is also a crucial part of this conversion. It is important to note that DOD/AFM lifter replacement necessitates a non-DOD camshaft.
