Designed to limit heat transfer from the turbo exhaust manifold to the engine bay, extending the life of under-hood components, decreasing intake temps, and improving throttle response. Constructed with an outer layer of pulverized volcanic lava rock fabric (rated 1800°F Direct Heat / 2500°F Radiant Heat) and internally insulated with high-temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool (rated 1832°F Continuous / 2300°F Peak) overlaid with a stainless steel mesh. Hand-crafted in North America.
