This upgrade improves drivetrain stability, making it better suited to handle the forces encountered during hard launches and demanding driving scenarios on the drag strip or race track. The result is a significant reduction in wheel hop and more crisp shifts, all while maintaining low NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) for a comfortable driving experience. Constructed from T7075 billet aluminum for the arm and end caps with a black anodized finish, this mount also features unique nylon inserts. These inserts isolate the mount from the subframe, mitigating potential damage from exhaust heat. The yellow polyurethane bushings offer excellent damping and rebound properties, contributing to the part's durability under various operating conditions. Unitronic utilizes advanced 3D scanning and CAD software to ensure a perfect fitment within the vehicle's envelope. The direct bolt-on design, along with the nylon inserts, facilitates an easier installation process, often without requiring subframe disassembly. The difficulty level for installation is rated as 3 out of 5. This Dogbone Mount Upgrade is specifically designed for the 8Y/8Y.2 RS3, 8V RS3, and 8S TTRS models. A 'race' version with red bushings is also available for high-power, race-oriented, or track-only vehicles.
