DOM Tubing Panhard Rod

The BMR Suspension PHR013 Panhard rod is engineered to upgrade the rear suspension of 2005-2014 Ford Mustangs. It directly addresses the limitations of factory stamped-steel Panhard rods with soft rubber bushings that allow excessive deflection under load. Constructed from robust 1.25-inch, 0.120-inch wall DOM tubing and featuring TIG-welded chrome-moly tube adapters, this Panhard rod offers significantly improved durability and performance. Key components include a CNC-machined 4130 chrome-moly center adjuster with rolled threads, enabling on-car adjustability for precise axle positioning without removal. This heat-treated, chrome-moly unit is self-lubricating and Teflon-lined for smooth operation. It is paired with custom-designed 304 stainless steel rod end spacers. The opposite end features a greasable, internally fluted, 95-durometer polyurethane bushing. This combination of a rod end and a high-durometer polyurethane bushing provides a balance of performance and comfort suitable for street performance, drag racing, and road racing applications. The reduced bushing and rod end deflection leads to improved, repeatable handling characteristics. Installation time is estimated at approximately 1 hour.
