Dominator 1.5XT-R Ball Bearing Turbocharger

The Blouch Dominator 1.5XT-R Ball Bearing Turbocharger is a performance upgrade derived from the popular Dom 2.5XT-R, specifically optimized for quicker spooling with a Garrett GT 56.5mm turbine wheel. This design makes it suitable for 2.0L applications where rapid response is prioritized over maximum high-RPM horsepower. The turbo utilizes cutting-edge technology from Blouch Performance Turbo, including a billet, fully-machined, closed-die forged XT-R compressor wheel with advanced aerodynamics and a custom compressor housing machined in-house for improved fitment. At its core is a Garrett GT ball bearing center housing, ensuring smooth operation and durability. The unit also features a Blouch custom 10cm² turbine housing with an adjustable upgrade actuator. Airflow capacity is rated at 49 lbs per minute, and the turbine wheel diameter is 56.5mm, while the compressor wheel diameter is 71mm. This turbocharger comes with a comprehensive installation kit, including turbo mounting gaskets, an oil feed restrictor, a braided stainless steel turbo oil feed line, an oil drain tube, coolant pipes, banjo bolts, and copper washers. Options are available for WRX-style or STi-style braided oil feed lines, choice of 8cm² or 10cm² turbine housing size, and optional ceramic coating for the turbine housing. All Dominator turbos feature black powder-coated compressor housings with the BPT logo. Note that Blouch turbochargers are custom-built to order and are not returnable. This turbocharger is compatible with all 2002-2007 Subaru WRX models and 2004-2021 Subaru STI models.
