Overview

The Blouch Dominator 1.5XT-R is a ball-bearing turbocharger designed for Subaru WRX and STI models. It features a custom 56.5mm turbine wheel and a 71mm XT-R compressor wheel capable of supporting 49 lbs/min of airflow. This turbo is available with either an 8cm or 10cm exhaust housing.

It utilizes a Garrett ball-bearing CHRA for improved performance and durability. The estimated brake horsepower for this turbo is 480 HP. Included with the turbo are essential installation components such as gaskets, oil feed restrictor, braided oil feed line, oil drain tube, and coolant pipes.

The Blouch Dominator 1.5XT-R turbocharger is a refined iteration of the popular Dom 2.5XT-R, specifically engineered for enhanced spool characteristics. Originally developed for 2.0L engines in the UK, this turbo utilizes a custom, high-flow, low-inertia 56.5mm turbine wheel, offering a quicker spool response at the cost of some ultimate high-RPM horsepower capability when compared to its larger counterpart. This turbocharger integrates advanced technology, including a Blouch billet 71mm XT compressor wheel with state-of-the-art aerodynamics, capable of supporting 49 lbs./minute of airflow. It also features a custom compressor housing designed for improved fitment, a water-cooled center housing with a low-inertia ceramic ball bearing assembly, and a custom Blouch 10cm² turbine housing with an adjustable actuator. Buyers can choose between 8cm² or 10cm² exhaust housing options. Included with the turbo are essential mounting components such as gaskets, an oil feed restrictor, a braided stainless steel oil feed line, an oil drain tube, coolant pipes, banjo bolts, and copper washers. Fitment is confirmed for 2002-2007 Subaru WRX and 2004-2021 Subaru STI models. For 2005-2009 Legacy GT or 2008-2014 WRX applications, a Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) is required.
