Dominator 1.5XT-R Turbocharger

The Blouch Dominator 1.5XT-R Ball Bearing Turbocharger is engineered to offer a quicker spooling performance characteristic, making it a suitable choice for enthusiasts seeking improved responsiveness. This unit utilizes a Garrett GT 56.5mm turbine wheel, which is smaller than the one found in the 2.5XT-R, resulting in a trade-off of some high-RPM horsepower for enhanced low-end power delivery. At its core, the Dominator 1.5XT-R features cutting-edge turbo technology including a Blouch billet, fully-machined, closed-die forged XT-R compressor wheel with advanced aerodynamics, delivering a flow rate of 49 lbs per minute. It is paired with a custom-designed compressor housing machined in-house for improved fitment and a Garrett GT ball bearing center housing. A custom Blouch 10cm2 turbine housing with an adjustable actuator is also included, designed to work in conjunction with the wastegate to prevent boost creep and promote a flat boost curve, simplifying tuning. Included with the turbocharger are essential installation components: turbo mounting gaskets, an oil feed restrictor, a braided stainless steel turbo oil feed line, an oil drain tube, coolant pipes, banjo bolts, and copper washers. Buyers can select between WRX-style or STI-style braided oil feed lines. Additional customization options include a ceramic coating for the turbine housing, which may add 1-2 weeks to delivery time, and a choice between an 8cm2 or 10cm2 turbine housing size. All Dominator turbos are built to order and are final sale, meaning they cannot be returned. This turbocharger fits all 2002-2007 Subaru WRX and 2004-2021 Subaru STI models.
