Dominator 1.5XT-R Turbocharger

The Blouch Dominator 1.5XT-R turbocharger is a performance upgrade derived from the popular Dom 2.5XT-R, originally developed for 2.0L UK customers. It utilizes a custom high-flow, low-inertia 56.5mm turbine wheel, offering quicker spool compared to the 2.5XT-R's 60mm turbine at the cost of some high-RPM horsepower. This turbo incorporates Blouch Performance Turbo's advanced technology, including a billet, fully-machined, closed-die forged 49 lb/min XT-R compressor wheel with optimized aerodynamics. It features a custom compressor housing designed for improved fitment, a water-cooled center housing with a low-inertia, low-friction ceramic ball bearing assembly, and a custom 10cm² turbine housing with an adjustable actuator. The design aims to prevent boost creep and provide a flat boost curve, easing tuning. Included with the turbo are essential installation components such as mounting gaskets, an oil feed restrictor, a braided stainless steel oil feed line, an oil drain tube, coolant pipes, banjo bolts, and copper washers. This turbo is designed for Subaru WRX models from 2002-2014 and WRX STI models from 2004-2021. Note that for 2005-2009 Legacy GT and 2008-2014 WRX applications, a Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) is required. Additionally, 2009-2014 WRX models will require an aftermarket intercooler.
