Dominator 3.0XT-R Ball-Bearing Turbocharger

The Blouch Dominator 3.0XT-R Turbocharger represents an evolution in Subaru performance, offering a significant upgrade for the WRX, STI, and Forester XT. Engineered with a full ball-bearing technology and a Garrett GT cartridge, this turbo provides improved spool characteristics and superior top-end power compared to conventional journal bearing setups. Its billet compressor wheel design optimizes aerodynamics for increased flow within the same inducer geometry, contributing to its capability of supporting up to 550 crank horsepower. Key specifications include a 60mm turbine wheel and a 76mm XT compressor wheel, with an airflow rating of 55 lbs per minute. The turbo features an internal wastegate pre-calibrated to 15 psi and is available with an optional 10cm2 exhaust housing, which is machined in-house by Blouch for quality control and flexibility. This turbo is designed as a complete bolt-on package and includes essential components such as a stainless steel oil feed line, oil drain tube, coolant lines, and new gaskets and hardware. Fitment is provided for Subaru 2002-2007 WRX, 2004-2021 STI, and 2004-2008 Forester XT models. It is important to note that all Blouch turbochargers are custom-built to order and are not eligible for return. Additionally, while described as a bolt-on, some sources suggest that fitting a 3-inch inlet into the stock location can be challenging, and rotated or specific aftermarket inlets may be required for installation.
