DOT 4 High-Performance Brake Fluid

The StopTech STR-660 Ultra Performance Race Brake Fluid is designed for high-performance street and racing applications, engineered to optimize brake system performance, especially at elevated operating temperatures. This DOT 4 motor vehicle brake fluid actively guards against boiling, preventing the loss of braking efficiency that can occur under severe racing conditions. It is formulated to maintain excellent viscosity, lubricity, and non-compressibility, ensuring consistent performance. Conforming to and exceeding the U.S. FMVSS 116 (§ 571.116) DOT 4 specification, the STR-660 is road-legal and compatible with modern ABS and other vehicle dynamic control systems. This brake fluid is also mixable with all DOT 3 and DOT 4 products, offering flexibility in its application. The fluid comes in a 500mL metal container, which not only offers increased durability over plastic bottles but also provides up to a 25% longer shelf life. Key specifications for the StopTech STR-660 include a typical dry boiling point of 622°F (328°C) and a typical wet boiling point of 404°F (206°C), with a minimum wet boiling point of 383°F (195°C).
