Double Adjustable Coil-Over Strut

The Strange Engineering S2045 is a double adjustable coil-over strut engineered primarily for drag racing. Constructed from durable 2000-Series aluminum, this strut offers independent external adjusters for both extension and compression, providing a wide range of control. It features 3 1/8 turns of extension adjustment and 13 distinct compression settings, allowing for precise tuning to optimize weight transfer and reaction times, or to improve stability over track imperfections and wheel stands. This coil-over strut facilitates easy ride height adjustments due to its integral coil-over body. The strut is sold individually and requires a 14" x 2 1/2" I.D. spring and an adjustable caster/camber plate, sold separately. For optimal performance, Strange Engineering recommends a 14" x 150 lbs spring, though consulting with your chassis builder is advised for specific spring rate suggestions. It is also noted that the use of caster/camber plates may transmit more noise due to the lack of rubber components.
