Double Adjustable Front Coilover Kit

The Global West Suspension COMST-6770TD is a double adjustable front end coilover kit engineered for 1967, 1968, 1969, and 1970 Mustang models equipped with small block engines. This kit is suitable for both street and drag racing applications, offering significant improvements in handling and performance. This comprehensive kit replaces factory components with upgraded parts, including tubular upper and lower control arms featuring Del-a-lum bushings and spherical bearings respectively, along with adjustable strut rods for simple caster adjustments. The system incorporates QA-1 double adjustable shocks and Eibach racing springs, along with helper springs, spacers, and a thrust bearing kit for easier spring adjustment. All components are finished in black powder coat. Global West's design philosophy ensures that the coilover kit maintains factory suspension loads within the shock tower, eliminating the need for cutting. Installation involves drilling a set number of holes, with templates provided. The kit is designed to work with stock or racing brakes and offers adjustable ride height, with a 1-inch drop positioning the shock at the middle of its travel. This coilover kit increases suspension travel from the stock 7 inches to 9 inches. It includes tubular upper control arms, tubular lower control arms, adjustable strut rods, billet aluminum tower shock mounts, steel lower shock mounts, QA-1 performance shocks, Eibach Racing Springs, helper springs, helper spring spacers, a thrust bearing kit, and new hardware. Assembly instructions and alignment specifications are also provided.
