Double Adjustable Shift Plate

The Cobb Tuning Shift Plate is engineered to significantly enhance the shifting experience in your 2015-2021 Subaru WRX with the FA20DIT 6MT engine. This double-adjustable mechanism allows for a 15% or 35% reduction in shift throw, which you can select during installation, providing a shorter, more precise feel between gears. The plate is constructed from polished aluminum and mounts directly to the base of the shifter mechanism using factory mounting points. By altering the pivot geometry at the base of the shift lever, this plate shortens the travel distance required at the knob while leaving the transmission selector travel unchanged. At its maximum setting (35% reduction), the distance between gear gates is approximately one-third shorter than stock, leading to quicker and more satisfying shifts. While the plate is the most impactful single component for improving shift feel, Cobb recommends adding their bushing kit and shift stop to further enhance the drivetrain's performance and achieve the complete Stage 1+ package experience. Installation hardware is included with the shift plate.
