Double-Adjustable Short Shifter

The COBB Double-Adjustable Short Shifter is a revolutionary upgrade designed to enhance driver control over the critical link between driver and car for the Gen1 MAZDASPEED3. This shifter offers unparalleled adjustability, allowing for independent settings of both the shift knob height and the shifter throw length. CAD-designed and precision-machined from 6061 billet aluminum, this shifter is finished in a vibrant COBB blue anodization. It retains the full reverse-lockout functionality of the OEM shifter, ensuring a secure and familiar feel. The design allows for easy adjustment of shift knob height and shifter throw length even while the shifter is installed in the vehicle, enabling quick, iterative changes to match your specific driving style. Adjusting the knob height is as simple as loosening two flush-mounted stainless steel socket-head screws in the upper billet body, sliding the upper shaft to the desired position, and retightening. For shifter throw adjustment, the forward pivot ball can be moved to one of five pre-tapped positions. The top position provides up to a 30% reduction in lever throw, with lower positions offering progressively less reduction, closer to the stock shifter length. The Gen1 MAZDASPEED3 Double-Adjustable Short Shifter is compatible with the factory shift knob and aftermarket knobs designed similarly to the stock unit. For an enhanced experience, it can be combined with the COBB Knob and MAZDASPEED Shifter Weight. Please note that this shifter is specifically designed for the Gen1 MAZDASPEED3 and will not fit Second Gen Mazdaspeed3 models or Skyactiv Mazda 3 vehicles.
