Description

The Tom Woods Discovery 1 Rear Double-Cardan Driveshaft is engineered as a robust upgrade for Land Rover vehicles, particularly those equipped with a lift kit. Tom Wood's offers various drive shaft designs, but the conventional double-cardan is suggested for vehicles with lifts around the 3-inch range, providing enhanced performance and durability over stock configurations. This driveshaft utilizes Gold Seal 1310 series universal joints, which are a widely available standard used across numerous Ford, GM, Jeep, and Dodge applications. Their strength and size are comparable to original Land Rover U-joints, ensuring ease of replacement should the need arise. Installation Note: If your truck is equipped with a rotoflex rubber coupler on the differential end, you will need to acquire the STC4858 flange kit to properly adapt the driveshaft to your vehicle.
