With an extended length of 385mm and a compressed length of 255mm, it ensures optimal suspension performance and a smooth, controlled ride. This shock absorber is designed with double eye fittings for a perfect fit. This Original Style Gas Filled Shock Absorber is a reproduction designed for various classic VW models including the Beetle (1947-1979), Split Bus (1955-1967), and Karmann Ghia (1960-1974). It fits the front suspension of Beetles and Ghias from 1950 to 1965, the rear swing axle suspension on Beetles, Ghias, and Type 3s, and front and rear suspension of Splitscreen and Baywindow models 68-69 front. Sold individually, it is always recommended to replace shock absorbers in pairs for balanced performance and handling. This shock absorber is an ideal replacement for restoring comfort and stability to your classic VW, offering a combination of durability and value. It is important to note that this product is intended for use as originally designed and should not be modified. Installation by a qualified professional is recommended, and fitting instructions are typically not included.
