The PRL Motorsports Replacement Panel Air Filter Upgrade offers an enhanced airflow solution for your vehicle's engine. Constructed with a double-layer woven cotton filter media, it boasts deep, dense pleats that increase the filtration surface area by 10% to 15%. This design promotes a greater volume of air into the combustion chamber while maintaining superior filtration capabilities, trapping particles as small as 5 microns. The filter is encased in a robust stainless steel mesh to resist dents and ensure strength under demanding conditions. Manufactured using a four-step, low-pressure injection molding process, the rubber base is securely bonded to the interior components, virtually eliminating rubber seepage and potential airflow blockage that can occur with other methods. The filter lubricant is specifically formulated to be vehicle sensor-friendly and creates an ionic bond with the stainless steel mesh, attracting and trapping dust particles, thereby keeping the cotton clean for maximum airflow. This PRL Motorsports air filter is designed as a direct replacement for OE part number 17220-64A-A00. Importantly, no ECU calibration is required for installation, simplifying the upgrade process. Please note that while PRL Motorsports products are built for performance, some items may affect your vehicle's factory warranty. Additionally, this product is not legal for sale or use in California on any emission-controlled motor vehicle.
