Description

The DENSO PK20TR11 Double Platinum Spark Plug offers enhanced durability and performance for a wide range of vehicles. Its construction features platinum-tipped center and ground electrodes, providing exceptional resistance to erosion and corrosion. This design allows for an extended service life of over 60,000 miles, reducing the frequency of replacements. Key specifications include a 14mm thread diameter, 1.25mm thread pitch, gasket seat type, and a 19mm reach. The fine wire 1.1mm center electrode is projected, while the two ground electrodes are side discharge type, both made of platinum. The spark plug also incorporates a purified alumina powder insulator for robust strength and thermal conductivity, a five-rib design to prevent flashover, and a copper-glass seal that ensures a gas-tight connection between the center electrode and insulator. Installation is facilitated by machine-rolled threads that prevent seizing or cross-threading. Torque specifications vary depending on cylinder head material: 26-30 lb. ft. for cast iron and 15-22 lb. ft. for aluminum. This spark plug is designed to meet or exceed OE performance standards and comes with a 12-month warranty.
