The Vr6 double resonated midpipe is engineered for the 2013-2017 Honda Accord V6, with specific fitment noted for Sedan and Coupe chassis variants (SKU: RV6-MID-01-02 for Sedan, RV6-MID-01-01 for Coupe). This component is the culmination of nearly a year of dedicated research and development, featuring custom-designed elements and a proprietary muffler packing material. Its primary objective is to mitigate the rasp often introduced by higher-flow exhaust systems, such as the RV6 Jpipe, while simultaneously creating a distinctive, exotic exhaust note during acceleration. Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel, this midpipe boasts 1/2" thick flanges and 2.5” diameter tubing with a 0.065" wall thickness. The resonators are also made from 304 stainless steel. Welding is performed using 100% TIG processes, with argon purging to ensure weld purity. An integrated underbody brace is included to provide the necessary clearance for the resonators. The package includes all necessary hardware for installation: 3 X M10-1.5 Bolt Set, 6 X M10-1.25 Flanged Lock Nut, 3 X M10-1.25 X 30mm Flange Bolt, a 2.5" Midpipe to Axleback Gasket, a 2.5" Jpipe to Exhaust Gasket, a 2.5" Exhaust Clamp, and the brace itself. It is important to note that bending of the heat shield may be required to prevent any potential rubbing issues.
