Double Shear Selector Rod

Machined to tight tolerances, this rod effectively distributes torsional forces and eliminates unwanted free play in the shifter mechanism. This DSSR is compatible with all brands of shifters, including original BMW and aftermarket units. It is specifically designed for the E46 M3 chassis with a 6-speed transmission. The product fits 2001-2006 M3 models, including both Convertible and Coupe body styles with the 3.2L L6 engine. Installation can be performed on jackstands, but UUC recommends using an automotive lift for safety. Ensure the working area is cool before installation. The kit includes two DSSR pins, two "U" clips, and shims. Please note that some sources indicate a specific DSSR (DSSR144) for E46 M3 models with a production date before 01/2004 may no longer be available, so confirm availability for your specific model year.
