Show original supplier description
The Ikon Motorsports 2x Rolls Double Sided Adhesive Mounting Glue Tape features a durable acrylic foam construction, designed for robust bonding applications. Each of the two included rolls measures 1 inch in width and 90 inches in length, providing ample material for various uses. This tape is ideal for securely attaching automotive exterior components such as front and rear bumper lips, side skirts, and spoilers. It's also suitable for furniture decoration, photo frames, sealing electronic components, and bonding metal and plastic badges. The acrylic foam material is known for its strength and ability to absorb and distribute stress, making it effective for mounting heavy objects or attaching items to uneven surfaces. Its resistance to extreme temperatures, water, chemicals, and UV light makes it suitable for outdoor or high-moisture environments. Installation requires careful preparation: the mounting surface must be cleaned and free of grease, with a solution of isopropyl alcohol and water recommended for degreasing. When applying, it's advised to pull back only a small section of the tape backing initially to allow for adjustments. After positioning, apply firm pressure to all mounting surfaces for approximately 30 seconds to ensure proper bonding. Avoid washing or tampering with the installed product for the first 24 hours to allow the adhesive to fully strengthen.
